A 40-year-old male patient presented with c/o
Heart burn since 1-2 months
History of presenting illness
He typically experiences this burning sensation in his chest or heart burn 1 - 2 hours after he eats. It is there almost 3-4 days a week. It usually worsens with lying down after dinner. At times it wakes him at night. He has been taking over the counter antacids, which gives some relief for a short time, but has had not much of relief.
There is no h/o chest pain, vomiting.
He has a sedentary lifestyle and complains of lot of stress at work since the last couple on months. There is no other significant history.
He is a known smoker for the last 20 years, takes alcohol occasionally (social drinker).
